CIA Landlord Insurance Honda welcomes Robin Mulhauser to the squad for the 2017 World Supersport Championship

Mulhauser competed in the Moto2™ World Championship this season with the Carxpert-Interwetten team and the young Swiss rider is looking to draw on this experience as he prepares for the challenge of switching to the WorldSSP category.

Robin said: “I am very glad to be part of CIA Landlord Insurance Honda for the 2017 season in World Supersport.  During my time in Moto 2 I have learned a lot and I have grown as an individual and as an athlete, therefore this experience should help me to work my way up to the top of the rank for the 2017 season.  The World Supersport Championship gives me an opportunity to come back to my first love with a bike that I already know from the European Superstock but above all this Championship should contribute to me gaining more confidence in my own practice.  I am looking forward to starting this new season and showing my performance while enjoying my sporting experience to the fullest.  I would like to thank Simon Buckmaster and the CIA Landlord Insurance Honda team for their trust and I will finish the Moto 2 season in Valencia by giving my maximum.”

CIA Landlord Insurance Honda Team Manager Simon Buckmaster said: “Welcome to the CIA Landlord Insurance Honda Team Robin.  Robin has gained experience in Moto 2 and has ridden before in the Stock 600 Championship on a Honda so I am sure he will settle in quickly and build in confidence in our team.  The CIA Landlord Insurance Honda has a good base setting so we will be able to get Robin up to speed quickly.  We will test in Spain and Portugal before the first round in Australia so Robin will arrive there in great shape to get his season off to a good start.”
